Site Evaluation

Frequently an architect helps their client determined the proper site for a future home. Topography, sun orientation, mature vegetation, access, and views all affect how a property is improved. If you already own a parcel, that’s fine too. An initial analysis of the property is one of the first phases in the design process.

Programing.

Understanding the needs of the homeowner is key to the design process. We all have priorities in how spaces are organized, how they are to function and be furnished. A detailed discussion between client and architect will help greatly in solving the jigsaw puzzle of the design process. This phase known as programming, is the process of creating the “puzzle guide” to a successful custom home. Truly tailored to the needs and desires of the homeowner.
